Schoolboy signings, my take?
The South African rugby world has been dominated by three things over the last couple of weeks: Super Rugby play-off qualifications, the EP Kings debacle and signing of schoolboys. What is concerning is the seemingly negative disposition the public has towards schoolboy signings. Why, though? I assume it has to do with the lack of professionalism that runs rife in our beloved country. What is wrong with signing a boy, who is in his final year and wants to give a professional career a crack?
