Strength and Conditioning

Co founder of Rugby IQ.com, Steve has a history of top level involvement in rugby as a player and skills, strength and conditioning trainer.

 

Steve played for Stellenbosch University (Maties) where he completed his honours degree in Sports Science. He has represented Western Province rugby at junior level as a scrum-half as well as playing premier division club rugby for 10 years for Stellenbosch and Villagers rugby clubs. He has been involved in rugby skills and conditioning for over 15 years, having worked with Bishops rugby for over 10 years and now currently with SACS. He has also worked for Western Province Rugby.

 

Steve also has Super Rugby experience and has achieved national colours where he was the Springbok Strength Coach with Jake White for 2006 and 2007, being a member of World Champion Springbok squad to the Rugby World Cup in France.
