HSSM is an online magazine that aims to be the go-to site for all high school sports related content. We have positioned ourselves among the schools as their school’s sports page where they can find fixtures, results, news, interviews, and photos assembled on their school’s dedicated page on our site. Our other users can find articles, matches, results, and players by sport, province, city, or school.

On the 13th of May 2008, I broke my neck during a practice at Pretoria Boys High School which left me as a C5 quadriplegic. Since then my life has been a roller coaster ride.

Rugby, although the cause of my disability, is my passion and I’m still heavily involved in the game.

My involvement/achievements in rugby so far:
 PBHS Rugby Coach (2009 – 2012)
 Blue Bulls BokSmart Ambassador
 Contributor for Rugby15 and School Rugby
 Founder of Ruggers
 IRB Level 1 Certified Coach
 Attended Coaching the Coaches by Jake White and Eddie Jones (2011)

DAN LOMBARD

am a mother of two girl, with a undescribable passion for rugby. In 2008 I started writing articles for Sharksworld, Bokworld and last year I was invited to write for Theyellowcap, which was also voted 2nd Best Sportsblog in South Africa.

I am a Sharks supporter and a Springbok supporter. But most of all I am a rugby supporter.

Being schooled in a small-town school, I have a soft spot for the underdog. I believe in fairness and will find peace the day that all school rugby players get equal chances to make it in the game. I believe too many talented players are losing out due to limited opportunities.

And I have to add: I love wine.
